Nearly five weeks passed, but I barely memorize my students' names. This mental laziness is, I believe, irrelevant to my actual competence as a TA. But it's quite a bit embarrassing that when I receive emails from them, their faces don't pop up in my mind, so that I'm forced to write strangely anonymous and impersonal replies.
