That Marx kept writing in German wherever he went, while Bakunin wrote in different languages, depending on where he was and/or to whom he's writing, seems to tell a lot about differences between marxism and anarchism. In this respect, Kropotkin is an exemplar case, a Russian aristocrat-geographer-anarchist who adopted various national languages as he was forced to move from Russia to France to England and finally came back to Russia.
