"These fragments I have shored against my ruins."

メリハリのない生活の流れ

I'm convinced that in one more week my life would degenerate into one seamless flow of reading/thinking/(trying to start) writing and net-surfing and drinking and falling asleep in a vacant room, alone. This silent asceticism is perfectly fine, even ideal. Some irregularities that regularly interrupt this routine are probably advisable, one might say, however. Are there any folks around Irvine who are interested in reading and discussing some books with me on a regular basis? The writers I'm now (re)reading/planning to (re)read are Benjamin, Marx/Foucault (for methodology of historiography), Darwin/Bergson/Freud (in the context of vitalism), English and French literature around/after Zola including early modernism, 19C anarchism (mainly Kropotkin) and recent anarchist studies, and many other L19C/E20C-related things, but I'm happy to read any other texts that are thought-provoking.
