Why I keep hearing from UCI science major freshmen that over 35 yrs old people lose interest in politics? Well, probably one may maintain that the older one becomes the less open-minded he becomes; indeed, I'm experiencing this a little bit these days. But why 35 in particular? What's the logic behind this peculiar reasoning? Anyway, it always makes me simile to hear this, for those who express this opinion don't seem to have any interest in politics! How can one become less political when he was hardly politically-minded in his youth?
