Updating a CV is terribly boring and time-consuming. I already wasted precious afternoon hours, which I usually keep for writing a dissertation chapter, by excavating old files and folders (physical and electronic, stored in a local laptop as well as in online storage services like Dropbox, Google Drive), by looking for exact dates, places, titles, names, and so on, and by correcting format. What's most exhausting is to translate a CV written in English into Japanese, because this necessitates various minute but significant changes and modifications. One rewarding finding, however, is that I discovered a translation of an interview article which I totally forgot I did since it's published in 2008.
