An email from AGS: "...you have been selected as a recipient of an Associated Graduate Student Annual Award. In recognition of your efforts working for the benefit of graduate students..." I had no idea why I was selected and took this as a mistake. Today I learned that Tets nominated me and I really did win the award! Reasons for nomination? "Quietly reading books during the protests" said Tets. YES. Should I attend the reception next Thursday?
