Is Zizek a philosopher or a trickster?

Is Zizek a philosopher or a trickster? His reading of Kant and Hegel is extremely exciting! I got excited at his decentering and disruptive interpretation of Kant-Hegel. But again and again he claims that "the standard reading of Kant and Hegel is such and such, but the truth is the opposite." No doubt Zizek reads these philosophers through Lacan and I know little about Lacan. So, I'm unable to judge whether Zizek is right or wrong. Anyway, I admit that Zizek is perilously attractive...
