難航する試験問題づくり

The more I revise exam questions, the more lengthy and complicated they become. I do this in hopes of clarifying them. But I suspect my students take my desperate effort to be unambiguous quite negatively. They seem to see this is too constricting. Well, I know this very well and the teaching experience this year only confirms that I'm simply torturing them by giving too complex questions. However, something inside me keeps encouraging me to be selfish and audacious, to give the very best questions and not care about whether they are practically manageable or not. No wonder why I'm not a friendly teacher.
