"These fragments I have shored against my ruins."

長文のメールを生徒に送りつけることの無益さ

Okay, the teaching experiences in these four years have almost proved that it's futile to send long emails to students, for they seem to pay little attention to them. Then why am I still writing such a monstrous text at this silent night time? Probably I'm writing to myself (and only to myself, perhaps). In scribbling convoluted sentences, I'm contemplating how the learning objectives can be achieved in the most productive, provocative, and promising manner. Not simply for me, but especially for my students' benefit. If only they took a moment to think about the tremendous effort I put to write such an extravagant email when they'd wake up and find it in their mail inbox!
